My condolences to all of you that were completely shut out last Friday of tickets for the Tweedy show at Bowery Ballroom on Dec. 4th. I feel your pain. I spun into a crippling depression as a result of my own powerlessness in the face of Ticketmaster shenanigans and the instant appearance of extras on Stubhub for an astounding $300. In remembrance of the days when you could buy a Wilco ticket at the door, for face value, here’s a clip of the band in what has to be sometime in ’93 rocking-up “Box Full of Letters”. Tweedy is definitely not yet sober (and foolishly dancing a bit like Ian Brown). Too bad I was 8 years old.
